Change is Constant is fuelled by my ongoing interest in the cyclical nature of relationship patterns and habitual human behaviour. Through the repetition, intersections and divergence of abstract lines and circular forms, I chart the ebb and flow of the relationships in our lives. Integral to this work is the use of organic dyeing techniques employed by collaborator, Gwen Chan.The persimmon dyed fabrics will darken over time under sunlight, a natural transition that embodies impermanence and change in the relationships we share with ourselves and others.
