Seniors Care Corner, Toa Payoh, Singapore

The 快乐 (joyful) wall is a collage of all the things that makes the seniors from this care corner break into a smile. During a drawing workshop, the artist posed the question “What makes you smile?” to the seniors. They responded candidly about their childhood, family, travels, communes with nature, kampung life among many others. After which, the artist invited them to draw out these happy thoughts. Their drawings were then collected as material for the mural.
